ICS LAUNCHES LATEST TECHNOLOGY
FAX6 WEATHER SOFTWARE
The new ICS FAX6 software uses advanced
Digital Signal Processing techniques to automatically track the weakest of
signals and provide an on-screen display of high quality weather
information from around the world. The FAX6 is designed for use with any
good quality HF radio receiver and incorporates the facilities for the
remote control of several popular models. Compatible with most versions of
the Windows operating system, this new software utilises the sound card,
which is embedded in most modern computers to decode weather and marine
safety information.
Easy to use, the FAX6 displays current and forecast weather information
transmitted in Weather Fax, RTTY and NAVTEX formats from around the world.
The in built 'automatic reception scheduler' allows fully automated
operation across a wide range of radio frequencies and message types over
a 24 hour period.
The FAX6 software is supplied on PC CD-ROM and comes complete with an
audio connecting lead, which is suitable for use with most radio
receivers.
The price of the ICS FAX6 is £140.00 excluding UK VAT.
