NAV6 NAVTEX sensors are now supplied without an 'whip extension'
Following further development of the NAVTEX sensor the extension whip has been deleted as being unnecessary.
This late change is not shown in the current version of the NAV6 user guide.

Pages concerned; Page 20
Replace section headed ; 'Mounting the 45cm Extension Whip' with the following new section;

Sensor Extension Whip Option
Provided the NAVTEX sensor has been mounted in accordance with the fitting instructions, the optional ‘whip extension’ is not required.
In the unavoidable event that the sensor installation is compromised in someway that results in inadequate reception performance, first consider moving the sensor to a more suitable location.
If this is not possible, the optional whip extension could be tried, however any resulting improvement to reception is likely to be dependent on several factors.
