On 6th April 2019 a GPS Week Number rollover event will occur, potentially causing issues with calculations done inside GPS receivers. ICS do not manufacture any GPS receivers, however a number of our products derive time and position data from NMEA data sources that may come from GPS receivers.
This is the second Week Number roll over since GPS stsrated in 1980, so most manufacturers are aware and have prepared. There is of course a risk of some devices that may have slipped through the net, so it would be worth double checking the status of GPS receivers particularly older devices.
