U.S. Coast Guard Commissions Rescue 21

The U.S. Coast Guard has accepted and activated Rescue21 a new command, control and communications system.

Rescue 21 is to be produced by General Dynamics C4 Systems and will integrated into the U.S. Coast Guards's existing search and rescue mission.

Rescue 21, which includes integrated Digital Selective Calling components from ICS Electronics, is currently installed in regions along the Eastern seaboard. Once fully implemented, it will be the Coast Guard’s primary command and control system along the 95,000 miles of coastline for which it is responsible.
